In the "Provisional Administrative Measures of the Customs of the People's Republic of China on Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) (Order No. 130 of the General Administration of Customs)" issued by the General Administration of Customs, it is pointed out: Bonded logistics center (Type B) (hereinafter referred to as "logistics center") refers to a bonded supervision place approved by the Customs, operated by an enterprise legal person within the territory of China, and a number of enterprises enter and engage in bonded warehousing and logistics business. The following goods may be stored in the logistics center with the approval of the Customs:
Domestic export goods
Transit goods and international transit goods
Temporary foreign goods
Processing trade import and export goods
Supply of materials and maintenance parts for ships and aircraft on international voyages
Repair parts imported for foreign products on consignment
General trade import goods without customs clearance
Other goods approved by the Customs that have not gone through customs formalities
Compared with the comprehensive bonded zone or special customs supervision zone, the functions of the bonded logistics center are mainly based on basic warehousing and logistics functions, such as simple processing such as packaging, sorting and subcontracting, but can not change the type of goods or Hscode, which can only go to the comprehensive bonded zone or export processing zone and other special customs supervision zone operation.
